Overflow Car Park

To accommodate for the 500+ construction workers involved with the energy from waste plant, a new overflow car park with 128 spaces was required.

Value engineering

Working with tight deadlines to ensure the car park was open in time for the main works, the team worked to a detailed plan to maximise efficiencies.

To create the new parking area from a tight, overgrown space, the team were chosen to undertake vegetation clearance, muck away, trim the ground to be on a gradient calculated by the Engineer, import stone and asphalt and install a drainage system made up of over 50m of drainage channels and a deep soak away.
